Waterwise helps you track hydration and understand the typical nutrition in everyday drinks. This page explains what information the app uses and how you stay in control.

Privacy at a glance
Information stored on your device
Waterwise stores the following information locally on your device:
- Your profile name.
- Water and other drink log entries.
- Hydration goals and activity preferences.
- Wake and sleep preferences.
- Nutrition-focus preferences.
This information is used to provide your hydration history, summaries, nutrition estimates and on-device suggestions.
How your information is handled
The current Waterwise testing version does not require an account and does not upload your hydration or nutrition logs to Waterwise servers. We do not sell your personal information. Waterwise does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location.
Subscriptions and purchases
If premium purchases are enabled, payments are processed by Google Play. Waterwise does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Waterwise may receive purchase status, product identifiers and a purchase token from Google Play solely to verify a purchase, restore access and manage your Nutrition+ entitlement. Google Play processes purchases under Google's own privacy policy.
Deleting your data
You can delete locally stored Waterwise data by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. If purchase verification is enabled and you want to request deletion of related support or entitlement information, email us at waterwise.support@gmail.com. Some purchase records may need to be retained where required for fraud prevention, accounting or legal compliance.
Nutrition and wellness information
Nutrition values and hydration suggestions are general estimates for wellness purposes. Waterwise is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Seek qualified professional advice for medical concerns or personal dietary requirements.
Children’s privacy
Waterwise is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian can contact us if they believe a child has provided information to us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Waterwise features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published.
